Job descriptionGreet visitors and employees in a professional manner, providing customer service while following Allied Universal's security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and following established protocols. Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, communicating with relevant personnel and first responders when necessary. Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a point of contact for inquiries. Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to company and client guidelines. Support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and guests by upholding Allied Universal's standards of professionalism. An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required. A minimum of one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required. A valid law enforcement officer license is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
