Senior Financial Education Coordinator

The Senior Financial Education Coordinator is responsible for delivering financial coaching, helping to coordinate and provide CTI's financial programming including the Financial Literacy Academy, One-on-One Financial Coaching and the full range of other Financial Education workshops and conferences, as well as co-managing the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications :

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree preferred.

Ability to become certified in Financial Coaching, and Credit Repair within 12 months of hire.

Minimum 1 year experience working with low income and culturally diverse individuals required.

Previous experience delivering financial education preferred.

Understanding of personal finance management required.

Attention to detail.

Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Familiarity with strengths' based approach to case management.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality of information.

Strong ability to problem-solve.

Demonstrated knowledge of community resources available to low income households.

Public speaking and outreach.

Crisis management skills.

Ability to travel to work sites.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual (English / Spanish, English / Khmer, English / Portuguese) preferred.
