As part of our Internal Float Pool, you will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards. You will anticipate needs, recognize changes, and implement high-quality care while promoting patient safety and collaboration amongst healthcare team members. Strive for excellence in patient care by participating in professional development activities and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Licenses & Certifications :
Must possess a Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Degrees :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program is required.
Required Functional Experience :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
You should demonstrate the ability to provide holistic patient care, recognize critical situational changes, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The role requires strong collaboration, delegation, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring a positive professional relationship with patients and team members.
Certification Addendum :
Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications.
