TJT is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to help our Trust, Estate & Gift practice and become an integral part of our tax team in a full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a valued business advisor and deliver industry-focused taxation services to high-net-worth clients. As a Senior Associate within the Trust, Estate, and Gift practice, you will work with firm leadership to serve TJT clients and grow the business, having a direct impact on the firms success.

To be successful as a Senior Tax Associate at TJT, you will have at least three years of prior experience in public accounting and exhibit diverse accounting knowledge and proficiency with financial statement interpretation. Essential functions include :

• Preparation of complex trust, estate, and gift tax returns
• Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership
• Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services
• Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
• Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations
