Supervise and coordinate patient care activities across the Emergency Department and Med / Surg units during assigned shifts. Serve as the on-site administrative and clinical leader during night hours. Provide hands-on nursing care as needed, including triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients ranging from infants to the elderly. Demonstrate competency in Stroke identification and management, STEMI identification and management, and emergency triage protocols. Ensure effective communication between the Emergency Department, inpatient units, physicians, and ancillary staff. Oversee hospital operations during off-hours and respond to emergencies, staff needs, and patient concerns. Maintain adherence to all regulatory, infection control, and safety policies. Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. Collaborate with other clinical leaders to ensure quality metrics and patient satisfaction standards are met.
