Our ICU Stepdown (14 bed unit) serves as a higher acuity link between critical and acute care areas. We care for a variety of patient conditions (Cardiac, Neuro, Respiratory, General Surgery, Transplant, Multi-system) requiring a higher level of care, including specialized kidney transplant recipients.  RN’s manage drips, oxygen and treatment modalities, while coordinating care across departments. RN’s will be trained in partnership with our critical care units learning multiple specialties, experiencing a variety of patient populations / diagnoses.
