Diesel Mechanic (Semis)

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Class 8 truck repair. This role requires a hands-on approach to repairing mechanical issues, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

• This will be an entry level position with room for advancement once your skills are shown. We are also looking to hire a highly experienced person. Pay varies based on experience.
• Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of Class 8 trucks and some heavy equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, wheel seals, driveline, exhaust, etc.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and welders safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
• Experience
• Proven experience as a Class 8 Truck Mechanic or similar role in automotive repair.
• At least 2 consecutive years of experience is an absolute must. If you don't have experience in this field, please do not apply.
• Proficiency in diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Strong understanding of engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and general repair practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
