The Opportunity
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-profile municipal projects.
Supervise mentor and support the professional growth of engineering staff.
Manage project budgets schedules and client communications to ensure successful outcomes.
Project Execution
Develop and review complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.
Conduct research and prepare recommendations for equipment and materials.
Oversee project budgets schedules and quality control across disciplines.
Coordinate and direct production teams while serving as the responsible engineer in charge.
Client Interface
Build strong relationships by understanding client goals and priorities.
Communicate client needs to internal teams and develop effective solutions.
Support business development and pursuit efforts.
Manage project changes in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Technical Leadership
Guide multi-discipline teams to achieve technical and project milestones.
Provide expertise in complex water and wastewater treatment projects.
Drive innovative cost-effective engineering solutions.
People Management
Review and guide junior engineers work.
Mentor coach and manage team performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience in consulting engineering.
Proven background managing water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades or expansions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements (background check drug screen etc.).
Work Environment
Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the initial onboarding period.
Extended computer or desk work may be required.
Occasional travel to client sites.
