Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead, motivate, develop, and retain sales team for future opportunities within the organization; provide qualified internal candidates for senior-level openings
  • Monitor, manage, and evaluate sales staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales and revenue goals and provide staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development
  • Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business
  • Identify, explore, and research new sales opportunities, including season ticket and group sales target markets
  • Track and report daily and weekly sales figures to the Director of Sales
  • Participate in event day ticketing or customer service duties, always representing the organization and brand positively
  • Attend, contribute, and participate in weekly sales leadership meetings
  • Attend local and national job fairs
  • Establish and maintain relationships with top sports management professors.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and / or Experience

  • College degree required, preferably in business or sports management
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful high-end sales experience in sports is preferred
  • Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to work independently / motivate self is a must
