QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST / TESTER

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst / Tester will be responsible for supporting the Ordnance Information System - Marine Corps system, solving technical issues that arise on a day-to-day basis will form an important part of the responsibilities.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst / Tester on this project, you will be part of a team supporting an enterprise application. The ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues is important in all aspects of this role.

As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance and quality control on in-house applications.
• Perform User Testing of Application
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Identify and resolve system software issues.
• Perform Testing Status updates, reviews, and analysis to track status of fixes to application.
• Perform testing that encompasses measuring functionality, performance reliability, stability, and compatibility of the web application.
• Work with developers in designing better software processes.
