End Date : February 16, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1320 - $1410

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Florida RN license or multistate compact nursing license

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required

NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

AHCA clearance required for all Florida travel nurses

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the Stroke Unit (Med Surg 2S)

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery processes

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
