About The Position

UCLA Campus West Hills Digestive Diseases (Faculty Practice Group) 7320 Woodlake Ave. Suite 320 West Hills CA 91307 RN ENDO GI / LAB Days 16 weeks Shift : 07 : 30-16 : 00 Mon-Fri No call or weekends RN CA License Required| BSN Certs : BLS &ACLS Required first time travelers ok if experience requirements are met 2 years experience required Charting Epic : Required Two Procedure rooms Three Recovery Bays Two Pre Op rooms 30 patient's seen a day approximately for colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies Additional Info Current State of California Nursing license, current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross PC proficiency in a Windows environment and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail Knowledge in the use of EMR. Ability to travel between the endoscopy area / GI lab when necessary. Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of care specific to endoscopy area / GI Laboratory, including conscious sedation. Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and ability to identify dysrhythmias. Demonstrate an ability to assist physicians in performing procedures in the endoscopy area / GI Laboratory practicing medical and surgical asepsis at all times. Self motivated with providing the best patient healthcare and patient privacy as the main priorities. Knowledgeable in pharmacology / drug interactions / side effects Location / Parking- West Hills Medical Center Campus on the corner of Woodlake and Sherman Pl. Parking is free and is located underground, the entrance to the parking is on Sherman Pl, via the long driveway
