Responsibilities

Ascension St Vincent Hospital is seeking afull time, BC / BE Palliative Care physician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensivecare to individuals with serious, complex or life-limiting illnesses.Our specialty trained interdisciplinary teamworks with patients to manage pain, and addresspsychosocial, emotional or spiritual distressto improve quality of life for the patient and family.

Responsibilitiesinclude : Inpatient consults, symptom management, team collaboration and multidisciplinary approach to care,

timely documentation, education and attending patient rounds, discharge planning, quality

improvement, psychosocial support, coordination of care, following best practices / evidence based

medicine
