JOB SPECIFICS
- Join an established Internal Medicine practice
- Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
- Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
- Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
- Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 7 : 30-6 pm. 1 night a week working to 6 pm.
- Excellent work / life balance with weekends.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited programCurrent Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistantCertification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationsProficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systemsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
