Job Description : Travel ICU RN – Iron Mountain, MI

Position Title : Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Location : Iron Mountain, Michigan

Shift : Nights, 3x12 schedule

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Pay Range : Competitive weekly gross pay (based on assignment)

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and laboratory results.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support interventions.
  • Operate and maintain ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform rapid assessments and respond to changes in patient conditions.
  • Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Provide compassionate, professional care in high-stress environments.

    • Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
  • Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively during night shifts.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
