Packaging and Crating 826613

Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a leading producer of wood doors and we are hiring  Packaging and Crating Associates  in  Raleigh, NC . In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for securely packaging and crating custom door products for safe shipment. This is a full time, 1st shift role in Raleigh, NC.

Pay : $16-$17 / hr

Shift - Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

Overtime as needed; occasional 2-hour shift extensions)

What You’ll Do :

Packaging & Crating :

Safely package and crate finished doors per company and customer specifications

Use wood, cardboard, shrink wrap, and other materials to protect products

Cut and assemble packaging materials to secure items

Accurately label shipments with barcodes and documentation

Quality & Shipping Prep :

Inspect products before packaging to ensure they’re damage-free

Work with logistics to meet daily shipment schedules

Prioritize and organize outgoing orders, assisting with truck loading as needed

Inventory & Safety :

Monitor packaging material stock and report shortages

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all company safety protocols and equipment guidelines

Teamwork & Process Improvement :

Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for packaging needs

Look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce packaging waste

What You Bring :

High school diploma or GED

1 year of experience in packaging, crating, or shipping (manufacturing a plus)

Comfortable using tools like nail guns, tape dispensers, and strapping machines

Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Preferred :

Forklift certification

Experience in door manufacturing or construction materials

Familiarity with inventory or warehouse systems
