At the Serra Auto Campus, we are looking to add highly-motivated and self-driven individuals into our Mercedes-Benz Service Department! Pay rates starting at $35 / hour , with a pay plan focused on technician development, skill, OEM qualifications, and tenure! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background (via on-the-job experience and / or secondary education) and a career growth mindset. Any potential candidate will require at minimum a State of Michigan Mechanic's License - ASE Certifications are preferred, and will boost your hourly rate! The day-to-day duties include performing general multi-point inspections, diagnosing specific vehicle concerns, estimating recommendations based on inspection and / or diagnosis, and performing approved repairs.

Responsibilities :
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including : engine, transmission, drivetrain, electrical systems, steering & suspension, brakes, heating & air conditioning systems, tires, alignments, and general maintenanceCommunicate directly with Service Advisor and / or Service Manager to inform customers of any additional services recommended or required; Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership & OEM manufacturer standardsExecute repairs under warranty to OEM manufacturer specificationsProvide an accurate story of the inspection / diagnosis and repair for every service performedMaintain appropriate punch times for each inspection / diagnosis and repair for every service performedMaintain State of Michigan Mechanic's License and obtain certification level required for performing various levels of repairComplete OEM manufacturer training and stay up to date on training based on skill levelQualifications :
