Summary :

In this role, you will be The Director of Nursing Programs and provide the Nursing Leadership team with clinical expertise and project management for all nursing offerings. You will support the newly launched adoption of the Nursing Manager Program for new nurse managers. You will oversee curriculum development to support these programs. You will plan and oversee continuing education activities related to nursing products, subject matter expertise on program and nursing issues, coordination of member training, and leading member workgroups and virtual networking. You will also support sales activity and nursing program operations.

Responsibilities :

Support the Nursing Leadership team to provide training and data interpretation for members engaged in the Nurse Manager Program.

Direct coordination and oversight of training and educational offerings for participants of Nursing Leadership programs and services.

Support Nursing Leadership teams to provide member support on nursing related issues and programs, recruitment, retention, integration of advanced practitioners and nursing workforce issues.

Lead assigned Nursing Leadership member networking calls and workgroups related to Nursing Leadership.

Coordinate and / or support member communication strategies such as newsletters, blogs, member updates.

Qualifications :

Registered Nurse with a BS degree is required. Advanced degree preferred.

7 or more years of experience is required. Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred.

Experience working as nurse manager in acute care nursing unit.

Experience working with adult learners and organizational design.

Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines while maintaining flexibility.

Advanced ability in organization, time management and planning skills.

Strong interpersonal and partnership skills.

Solid knowledge of MS Office Products.

Exemplify diplomacy, initiative, resourcefulness, and professionalism.

Demonstrate problem solving and sound decision-making skills.

Comfortable interacting with clinicians and customers.

Ability to lead with poise in an environment that requires quick turnaround.

Estimated Hiring Range :

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
