About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Pre-Litigation Attorneys to join our plaintiff-side personal injury team. This role focuses exclusively on motor vehicle accident (MVA) and automobile liability cases, representing clients in Metro Detroit and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and confident in managing cases from intake to litigation handoff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of pre-litigation work in auto injury cases
  • Guide clients through the legal process with compassion and clarity
  • Draft and file pre-litigation documents, including settlement demands
  • Oversee and negotiate settlements, ensuring favorable outcomes
  • Supervise and support pre-litigation paralegals to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Conduct EUOs (Examinations Under Oath), PIP statements, and recorded client statements
  • Evaluate and complete cases ready to be transitioned to the litigation team

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Michigan Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling pre-litigation MVA injury cases
  • Proactive, confident, and results-oriented legal approach
  • Strong client communication and service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with legal support teams
  • Proven success managing a high-volume caseload efficiently
  • Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

  • Base salary : Ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Performance bonuses : Quarterly bonuses typically range from $75,000 to $110,000+ annually, with no cap—designed to reward consistently strong results
