About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Pre-Litigation Attorneys to join our plaintiff-side personal injury team. This role focuses exclusively on motor vehicle accident (MVA) and automobile liability cases, representing clients in Metro Detroit and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and confident in managing cases from intake to litigation handoff.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of pre-litigation work in auto injury cases
- Guide clients through the legal process with compassion and clarity
- Draft and file pre-litigation documents, including settlement demands
- Oversee and negotiate settlements, ensuring favorable outcomes
- Supervise and support pre-litigation paralegals to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Conduct EUOs (Examinations Under Oath), PIP statements, and recorded client statements
- Evaluate and complete cases ready to be transitioned to the litigation team
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive member in good standing with the Michigan BarMinimum of 2 years of experience handling pre-litigation MVA injury casesProactive, confident, and results-oriented legal approachStrong client communication and service skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with legal support teamsProven success managing a high-volume caseload efficientlyExcellent legal writing and oral advocacy skillsBenefits
