Barr-Nunn Transportation, a premier truck load carrier in business for over 42 years, is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Charlotte, NC terminal.

Main Job Responsibilities :

  • Level 1 Mechanic : Cleaning trucks, work with hand tools, perform tire services, general shop upkeep and cleaning, and other duties delegated by Management.
  • Level 2 Mechanic : Perform all level 1 duties if needed but will spend most of the time on preventative maintenance including but not limited to : Servicing of trucks and trailers, DOT Inspections on trucks and trailers, minor engine diagnostics, emissions systems troubleshooting, Will receive training during this time from inside and outside sources for continual advancement opportunities.
  • Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must have valid drivers license.
