Job Description / n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact RN license and at least two years of recent cath lab experience.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Position is in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Shifts are scheduled for either 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m. or 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Work involves cardiac procedures typical of a cath lab environment

Responsibilities include care of cardiac patients undergoing cath lab procedures

Gap explanations are required for work history gaps of three months or more

Candidates must provide documentation of all required certifications before starting

Dress code details will be provided upon assignment

Active KY or compact RN license required

Minimum two years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience required

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association must be current for the duration of the assignment

Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required at the time of consideration

Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19

Completion of Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training is required and may be completed onsite

Candidates must not have any disciplinary actions ("HITS") on their license

Applicants must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility as local travelers are not accepted
