Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Presque Isle, ME

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

• Night Shift Location : Ellsworth, ME We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts in a mixed acuity unit. Responsibilities :
• Care for diverse patient types including those with Vents, Sepsis, PNA, DKA, Detox, CHF, COPD exacerbation, and surgical complications.
• Occasionally care for pediatric post
• surgery patients.
• Manage patient ratios of 1 : 3, based on acuity. Qualifications :
• 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in ICU.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Willingness to act as Charge RN.
• Proficiency in handling medical equipment and managing insulin and cardiac gtts.
• Ability to read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU. Support on the Unit :
• Charge nurse, RT, and Hospitalist available 24 / 7.
• Centralized Tele monitoring tech. Additional Information :
• Charting System : Cerner.
• May float to Med Surg or ED as needed.
• Weekend rotation : Every other; no call required.
• Scrub Color : Any professional color.
