We currently have a role available for a Cell Bank Biologist (short-term). This role would last approx. 6 months (no guarantee of length). Providing successful completion of assignment, employee would be considered for other roles with Cogent Scientific at our Indianapolis site.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Preparing Master Cell Banks (MCBs) and Working Cell Banks (WCBs) following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
• Performing cell culture activities including expansion, cryopreservation, and recovery of cell lines.
• Maintaining accurate and complete records of cell line provenance, testing, and storage conditions.
• Conducting routine quality control tests such as mycoplasma detection, sterility testing, and viability assays.
• Operating and maintaining equipment including biosafety cabinets, incubators, centrifuges, and controlled-rate freezers.
• Ensuring all cryopreserved cell vials are properly labeled and stored in monitored liquid nitrogen or ultra-low temperature freezers.
• Collaborating with R&D teams to support cell line-related needs.
