Job description

Seeking : Neurologist

Location : Bordentown, NJ

  • First in the region to offer mobile stroke unit( basically ICU on wheels)
  • Largest dedicated neurosurgical intensive care unit in NJ
  • EMR : Athena (outpatient) / Cantata (Inpatient- new system coming in the next few yrs.)
  • Procedures does in the office?

Botox ( Not in office currently, but could be)

  • TCDs in the office (Transcranial Doppler)
  • EMGs ( Viasys)
  • Average number of patients seen per day? Dr. Matarese sees 20 patients a day, 30 mins for all patients, Future is 20 follow-up / 40 new patients,
  • Office hours? 8 : 30am to 4pm
  • Comprehensive Stroke Center offering neurovascular interventions
  • 7th Active Mobile Stroke Unit in the US
  • Bi-Plane Angiography
  • Outpatient Only
  • Opening due to growth in the area ( mid nov. new patients)
  • Practice call only; Inpatients done by Neuro-Hospitalist
  • EMGs a plus for new doc coming in (huge referral base)
  • Teaching opportunity w / IM Residents / Research opportunities
