About the Role
The Company is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the direct sales efforts and develop property sales objectives. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving revenue, increasing occupancy, and enhancing the average daily rate at the active adult community. This role involves collaborating on marketing plans, identifying lead sources, and establishing and maintaining relationships with key and potential accounts. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing department expenses, ensuring customer and resident satisfaction, and monitoring guest satisfaction scores to work on continuous improvement.
Applicants for the Sales Manager position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years in hospitality sales, including three years in a management role. Strong leadership, revenue management, and decision-making abilities are essential, as is a self-motivated and innovative mindset. The role requires familiarity with local competition and industry trends, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in various computer software applications. The ideal candidate will be adept at building strong customer relations, maintaining detailed customer profiles, and be proactive in researching market trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses.
