In this role you will help design and deliver platform solutions which will enable teams in building and operating analytics pipelines more efficiently for Apple. We focus on delivering innovative capabilities and anticipating future technological trends.\\n

We're looking for a junior Software Engineer to join the APX Bedrock team - the foundation of our platform capabilities. You'll help design and build scalable, user-friendly tools and backend services that make it easier for teams across Apple to manage and operate analytics pipelines efficiently.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n- Design and build scalable backend services that integrate big data technologies with microservices for real-time and batch data processing\n\n- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and improve platform capabilities\n\n- Contribute to the design of intuitive developer tools and automation systems\n\n- Stay informed of industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas\n\n

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent related experience\n\n3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a full-stack or backend role\n\nProficiency in building and maintaining backend services using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go)\n\nSolid knowledge of SQL and working with relational or analytical databases\n\nKnowledge of CI / CD practices and DevOps fundamentals\n\nFamiliarity with data engineering concepts and challenges\n

Hands-on experience integrating or leveraging AI models in applications\n\nExperience with big data orchestration systems like Airflow\n\nExperience in building CLI tools\n\nExperience with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes\n\n
