Job descriptionyear degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or industrial technology, or closely related subject years of experience working with battery, Battery Management System (BMS), or HIL technologies Demonstrated knowledge of software and hardware validation testing Demonstrated knowledge of battery test equipment, LabVIEW, and data acquisition systems Experience with high voltage systems Experience with communication protocols, CAN-FD and CAN over Ethernet Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations. Our Client, an EV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Battery Test Engineer for their Tustin, CA location.
Responsibilities :
- Execute functional safety battery pack and vehicle testing at Client.
- Operate and maintain battery testing equipment (, battery cyclers, environmental chambers, data acquisition systems).
- Analyze test data and generate detailed reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Develop and implement new test methodologies and automation scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to provide feedback on battery performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all test data, procedures, and reports.
- Follow and enforce all lab safety protocols
- Maintain a clean workspace
