Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets, coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, reviewing and approving subcontractor / vendor contracts, tracking costs, processing change orders, managing billing, monitoring profitability, identifying cost-saving opportunities, leading project teams, conducting regular progress meetings and providing updates to stakeholders, enforcing safety standards and OSHA compliance, ensuring quality control and adherence to contract documents, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and preparing and presenting project reports to senior leadership.
Essential Skills include Procore proficiency, experience with multi-family projects valued at $10M+, a clean driving record, strong project management skills, expertise in construction management, experience in construction documentation and project engineering, and proficiency in document control. Additional Skills & Qualifications include experience with projects up to $30M in size, commercial construction experience, and change order management expertise.
This role requires onsite presence in Waterbury at project sites once or twice a week. A car allowance ranging from $400 to $600 per month is provided, depending on commute.
This is a Permanent position based out of Waterbury, CT. The pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 / yr.
