Position Summary
Supervise activities in an operational unit supporting admissions events and specialized outreach. Responsible for overseeing the processes training and execution related to admissions events and off-campus programming which provide information and assistance to prospective students. Oversee staff management and development communications and specialized recruitment. Supports and serves as the lead for admissions communications between counselors and prospective students as well as building relationships with high schools and community college faculty and staff. Develop reporting on admission data and be responsible for coordinating campus visit programs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work with the AVP / Director and enrollment counselors to coordinate the admissions communication flow for prospective students and families and provide assistance with communications to students as needed. Help coordinate training management and professional development of enrollment counselors. Assist with the training of new members and hosting regular updates and meetings. Manage information related to admissions within the different enrollment systems and provide weekly reports on necessary data to the AVP / Director and other senior staff as needed. Hire train and manage student ambassadors. Ensure scheduling is aligned with work-study requirements. Provide effective follow-up templates for prospective students including telephone call scripts emails texts and letter sequences. Provide prospective students / families with academic financial aid and campus information. Develop and oversee tours including but not limited to group religious evening weekend and holiday tours. Coordinate and schedule all daily campus visits tours and meetings for prospective students and groups. This will include proper communication with guests the office and campus as well as maintaining the registration process staffing room reservations creating special agendas and facilitating campus collaboration. Maintains statistics of daily visitors to Texas Wesleyan University. Compiles information into monthly quarterly and annual reports. Maintain a positive working relationship within the Texas Wesleyan community. Connect with students faculty staff and organizations to ensure Texas Wesleyan is recognized and accessible on each assigned campus or organization. Other duties as assigned by the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
