Schedule Day shift from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with flexible scheduling. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with pediatric experience to join a fast-paced, supportive environment. You will care for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Responsibilities will include triage, patient assessment, and management of various acute medical conditions. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Emergency Department. Triage and assess patients for immediate care needs. Manage acute conditions, including strokes, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac events. Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes. Float to other areas as needed based on staffing needs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting, with pediatric exposure. Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC in hand required). Active RN license in New York and all relevant nursing licenses. Submission of NURSYS Report for license verification. Previous travel experience is required. EMR experience with EPIC is necessary. Two recent references from ED Charge / Manager RN.
