Job Title : Contracts Coordinator
Overview
The Contracts Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of customer, subcontractor, purchasing, and employee contracts. This role plays a key part in ensuring contracts are legally compliant, aligned with company goals, and executed efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong legal and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer prime and subcontract agreements to ensure alignment with AMI terms, conditions, and allowances.
- Identify potential risks related to projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Act as a liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders to facilitate contract execution.
- Provide contract guidance and support to internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Interpret and resolve discrepancies or conflicts within contract terms.
- Monitor AMI proposal terms and conditions for legislative, regulatory, and business-related updates.
- Manage contract signatures and maintain consistent communication on contract status.
- Draft various types of contracts and coordinate reviews with legal counsel as needed.
- Monitor lien notices and prompt payment documentation for legal validity; draft related forms as required.
- Audit contracts for compliance, documenting and addressing any variances or amendments.
- Support legal discussions regarding contract issues and resolutions.
- Oversee subcontractor agreements to ensure compliance with AMI standards and performance expectations.
- Maintain organized records of all active and archived contracts, ensuring accuracy and version control.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Create and update employment contracts and review internal communications for legal accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required.Minimum of 3 years of contract management or paralegal experience.Exceptional organizational, communication, research, and legal writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset.Benefits
