Our ten-week paid Summer Internship Program is based out of our Santa Monica headquarters. We developed the program for students to gain practical training and hands-on experience to meet their educational goals and prepare for their professional careers in real estate. Throughout the last several years, we’ve carefully curated a meaningful and impactful internship program. Our goal is to provide you with a dynamic and engaging learning experience and the opportunity to develop while having dedicated support around you.

About The Program

• Program Length : 10-week, full-time paid summer internship
• Dates : June 1 – August 7
• Compensation : Paid internship with additional living stipends available
• For students not based in Los Angeles : living stipend to help cover housing costs
• For LA-based students : may also be eligible for a stipend to reside on the Westside
• Work Arrangement : In-person role; expected to be in the office 4–5 days per week for the duration of the program

About This Role

Lincoln Avenue Communities (LAC) is looking to hire a summer analyst to join our Originations team based in Santa Monica. Our Origination team is where it all begins with the transaction process of our real estate assets – the team’s main responsibility is to source deals for LAC and work closely with our Development team through the underwriting process to manage our pipeline. Through detailed research and outreach, as well as a light marketing process, the team’s goal is to keep a steady pipeline of deals flowing through the pipeline while also developing relationships for the firm.

We are looking to hire a junior student (graduating in 2027).

What You’ll Do

As an Originations Summer Analyst, you will work closely with your colleagues to source and build new opportunities for the acquisition of qualified Multifamily Affordable Housing properties (individual assets and portfolios) throughout the United States.

Through cold calling, emailing campaigns, and other means of sourcing, in this role, you will build, cultivate, and manage relationships with high-target contacts by leveraging and growing a national network and uncovering proprietary deals for the acquisitions team. This role is critical to the growth of Lincoln Avenue Capital and is a valuable contributor to the ongoing success of the organization.
