Vision for the Role :

  • A Seasonal Hume SoCal Accommodations Crew Member helps provide a comfortable and distraction-free experience for guests and campers by preparing lodge rooms and camp cabins, cleaning restrooms, and setting up gathering spaces of camp to Hume standards in a timely manner.

  • Preparation and cleaning of guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas  Cleaning and setting up of chapels, dining rooms, and meeting rooms  Laundering of linens and towels  Stocking of Accommodations and guest items throughout the various facilities  Snow removal  Sweeping, raking, and, if needed, shoveling  Our Ideal Candidate :   Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.  Agree with Hume Lake’s Statement of Belief and be willing to abide by Hume Lake’s Code of Conduct.  Serve as a positive role model, show enthusiasm, and display a positive attitude  Be a witness for Jesus Christ in all words and actions, sharing Christ’s love with the public, campers, and staff.  Ability to be on-site while camp programs are in session  Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.  Must agree with Hume Lake’s Statement of Belief and be willing to abide by Hume Lake’s Code of Conduct.  Ability to project a friendly attitude to meet the needs of all Accommodations’ customers   Physical Requirements :    This position must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 lbs.  Must be able to stand, kneel and bend for extended periods of time  Must be able to live in extreme weather conditions at a high altitude  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the position  Benefits & Perks of Community Living :   Be a part of a tight-knit community of believers serving the mission of the camp.  Incredibly beautiful views and environment, camping, and walking / running trails.   On-site housing is provided for a minimal rate.  Dining on-site for minimal cost.  Salary :  $16.50, Hourly  If this sounds like you or something you feel called to, we would love to hear from you!  Powered by JazzHR
