BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse - Transfer Center to join our outstanding and compassionate team. Come join our Transfer Center team where you'll utilize your critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to assist our bedside teams transfer and place their most critical patients.

The RN - Transfer Center responsibilities include :

The facilitation of hospital transfers while adhering to EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act) guidelines

Collaborates with physician, and teams with patient / family / physician regarding higher level of care requests

In addition, the Psych RN will place all internal and external behavioral health patients in the appropriate bed placement utilizing the behavioral health medical acceptance guidelines and in accordance with the Baker and Marchman Act Laws

Experience specialization is department specific :

Med / Surg / ICU Transfer Center will require either Med / Surg, ICU or Emergency Department / Critical Care experience

Behavioral Health Transfer Center will require Behavioral Health experience
