Home Care Pediatric RN

Akron, OH

Shift :  28.5 hrs / week 7 : 30a-5p Tues / Thur / Fri

Pay Rate : $60 / hour

The Home Care Pediatric RN will care for pediatric patients with complex healthcare needs in the home setting. Travel to homes up to 1 hour from facility. THIS IS A DEDICATED PEDS HOME HEALTH POSITION- WILL NOT BE AT THE FACILITY.

Home Care Pediatric RN Key Responsibilities :

Provide care to pediatric patients in the home care setting

Manage pediatric patients with trachs and vents

Collaborate with healthcare team to stabilize and treat patients

Accurately document care in EPIC

Home Dare Pediatric RN Requirements :

Active RN license

BSN required

Six months in either home health or an acute care setting is required

PICU exp required

Current CPR / BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required

Six months experience required in one of more of the following areas : Home Care, Geriatric care, Medical / Surgical, CCU, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, or Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD)

Experience in Pediatrics and / or working with individuals with developmental delays is preferred

Experience in managing technology dependent and / or medically complex patients is preferred

Communication skills needed to work with all levels within an organization is required

Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required

Travel to patient homes located within 1 hour of the facility
