Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry.

The contract duration is 13 weeks.

The shift runs from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

The nurse will take patient assignments of 6 : 1, possibly 5 : 1.

No on-call requirements are expected.

Candidates must have Basic Life Support certification and Med / Surg experience.

Preferred candidates will also have Advanced Cardiac Life Support and TNCC certifications.

The unit has 34 beds and utilizes Welch Allyn Vital Signs and GE Telemetry Monitoring equipment.

The EMR system used is MediTech.

Staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, and 3 Patient Care Technicians on day shift, as well as 1 Charge Nurse and 6 Nurses on night shift.

The typical patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Outgoing and team-oriented staff fit best with the unit's culture.

The dress code requires navy scrubs.
