Structural Designer EIT

A company is looking for a Designer I to join their Structural team in East Lansing, MI.

Key Responsibilities

Perform basic analysis of project elements and load development

Prepare organized structural calculations and design structural elements

Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager to meet deadlines and budgets

Required Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or related discipline required; Master's preferred

EIT or ability to obtain within the year

Minimum 1 year of bridge design experience or relevant internship experience

Progressive experience with MicroStation for developing plans and specifications

Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned projects
