We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity involves working 12-hour shifts, with both day and night coverage available. The physician will provide care in a facility equipped with 7 ED beds, ICU beds, and fast track beds, ensuring high-quality treatment for patients requiring emergency services. Job Details Location : Texas Start Date : Feb 2, 2026 LOA : 36 days Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am daily Responsibilities and Duties Provide emergency medical care for patients presenting to the ED Manage cases in a facility with ED beds, ICU beds, and fast track beds Stabilize and transfer patients requiring higher levels of care Utilize full on-site laboratory capabilities for patient assessment Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver timely patient care Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation Adhere to all facility protocols and clinical guidelines Additional Information Texas medical license required Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine ABEM certification preferred; will consider FM trained physicians with strong ED experience Emergency Medicine residency training preferred; open to FM residency trained with ED experience Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required If EM board certified, proof of ATLS completion required at least once in career Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
