Whats The Job

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician 1 Shift to join our rapidly growing team and help ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role will be hands-on in supporting operations conducting inspections performing testing and partnering with plant personnel to maintain a safe consistent and high-quality product.

Work Schedule : Monday Friday

What Youll Be Doing Stop Scanning and Read This Part

• Be a food safety and quality champion assisting Operations in GMP and SOP compliance.
• Help ensure compliance with product safety consistency and quality standards in alignment with the Oats Overnight Food Safety Plan.
• Routinely interact with plant personnel to provide quality and safety-related information.
• Perform inspections and real-time sanitation checks using rapid result testing.
• Inspect incoming shipments and materials.
• Sample ingredients and products using correct sampling techniques.
• Maintain records of tests audits and other quality procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address food safety risks throughout the production process with other food safety team members.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and promote food safety throughout the facility.
• Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary.
