Temporary positionhourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 04 : 30pm)Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories; reconcile results with system data. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock; communicate needs to purchasing and sales teams.Enforce inventory control procedures to reduce loss and shrinkage.Manage inventory aging and coordinate the rotation or disposal of obsolete / damaged items.Record inventory changes (incoming, outgoing, transfers, adjustments) in systems.Inventory Specialist Qualifications :
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Effective verbal and written communication skills.Experience with ERP / WMS systems is a plus. Knowledge of inventory control practices (FIFO, LIFO, cycle counting).Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
