We are seeking a self-starter; a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can independently initiate and drive projects to completion.Job DescriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking for a qualified Quality Assurance Engineer to join our quickly growing Capabilities Team. Candidate should have a deep understanding of systems architecture & design.The key responsibilities include overseeing the quality assurance process of our company, improving our current deployment pipelines and testing applications end to end.ResponsibilitiesPlease note that this job is only hiring candidates that live in the Metro NYC area and can commute to the office.Create tests to identify software problemsAnalyze bugs and errors found during testsDocument results of tests for the software development teamCreate high quality reports for stakeholdersWork together with development team enhance current testing pipelinesResearch and compare similar competitor productsMaintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancementsQualificationsWhat We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering, software engineering, or a similar roleBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProficient in Python, JavaScript, Microservices, Postman, SQL, No-SQL Databases, Manual Testing, and AutomationExperience with API testing using PostmanHands on experience with Test Management and Defect Tracking toolsExperience with web applications, libraries, languages, and frameworksExceptional attention to detailExperience working with Agile teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills Great team player and able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervisionAble to sit in front of a computer for long hours at a timeMust live in NYC metro area - role is hybridAdditional InformationWhat We Offer
