Your Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will :
- Prioritize Safety : Understand and execute MRI safety concepts to ensure a safe environment for patients, guests, and fellow caregivers.
- Technical Expertise : Collaborate with radiologists to select appropriate scanning parameters and techniques for high-quality clinical exams.
- Patient Preparation : Ensure proper patient and order identification, preparing patients appropriately for their exams.
- Conduct Examinations : Perform MRI exams according to established protocols, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and multiplanar image reconstruction.
- Administer Contrast : Under supervision, perform contrast and medication administration as part of the MRI examination process.
- Maintain Competency : Stay updated on clinical and technical functions to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Follow Policies : Adhere to Intermountain policies regarding clinical documentation, billing, and electronic medical records.
Shift Details
Eligible for a $5000 sign-on bonus!Full-time position (36 hours per week)3 shifts of 12 hours eachShifts : Mon - Wed or Thurs - Sat (7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm)Minimum Qualifications
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certificationARRT(R) certification with at least 1 year of full-time MRI experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providersPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in MRI or Advanced Radiologic SciencePhysical Requirements
Ability to see and read information, assess patient needs, and operate monitors.Frequent verbal communication with patients and care providers, especially in emergencies.Manual dexterity to operate complex equipment and perform documentation tasks.Physical capability to lift and transfer patients, as well as carry supplies and equipment.Ability to navigate busy environments and assist with patient transport.May require standing for extended periods and driving as needed.Location

The hourly range for this position is $38.77 - $59.82 , depending on experience.
