Service Sales Specialist
The Service Sales Specialist is a key role within the support organization of Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology "BNSM" Division, manufacturer of the world's leading Atomic Forces Microscopes, Stylus profilers, Mechanical Testers, X-Ray metrology and Wafer Clean, Mask Repair and non-contact 3D optical microscopes for research and semiconductor applications.
The position could be done home based within Europe with the necessity to travel from time to time.
Responsibilities
Contract sales
- Create business development plan. Provide and achieve targets to grow the Service Business unit to maximize volume and profitability.
- Promote and sell the LabScape Service Agreements, upgrades and other aftermarket products to all existing and new customers in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
- Be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the Service Contract business for all product groups in General Purpose Instruments in the assigned sales territory
- Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with key accounts or indirectly with 3rd Party Service Providers subject to chart of authority
- Develop existing and build new customer relationships ensuring Bruker is seen as a long-term business partner
- Aid instrument sales by maintaining and developing effective, working customer relationships via valued service products.
- Develop proposal for sales campaigns for specific service products and markets / customers and align campaigns with the Service, Marcom, and Product Management leadership before execution
- Monitor changes or developments within the industry and report to management
- Documentation of activities in our CRM program
Service administration
Provide administrative support to customers and field service team, such as responding to pricing inquiries, creating quotations and maintaining customer data base.Phone support for customerInteract with Finance team to ensure that billing and collections proceed in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned that are broadly in line with the above and key objectives.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of sales experience. Experience with contract sales preferred.Tenacity and self-motivation inspired by success, enthusiasm, drive, and initiative directed towards achieving positive outcomesAn outgoing and likeable personality with a high degree of personal integrityAbility to collaborate with people at all levelsOrder processing experience is preferredExperience with Salesforce or other CRM systemComputer literacy for document, presentation preparation and report writingExcellent communication (both written and oral) in English, French and German are a strong advantage.Please include your salary expectations and the possible starting date in your cover letter.
