Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 2B Nursery night shift position requiring MA licensure and recent NICU experience.
Responsibilities
Work in a 25-bed Level 2B Special Care Nursery with L&D, postpartum, newborn, operating, and ante-natal roomsPatient population includes neonates, mothers, and laboring patientsClinician to patient ratios : 1 : 2-3 for L&D evaluations, 1 : 1 for active labor, magnesium infusion or epidural; postpartum 1 : 3-4Average daily census is 15-25 mothers, babies, and labor casesScheduled for 36 hours per week on night shifts from 19 : 00-07 : 30 with every other weekend requiredNo floating requiredUses EPIC for electronic medical recordsDeliver specialized nursing care to neonates and mothers in a Level 2B nursery settingWork alongside a multidisciplinary perinatal teamScrub attire required (not specified but typical for this setting)Orientation and training provided based on experienceParking may incur additional costs at certain locationsFirst time travelers are accepted if requirements are metRequirements
