Our Edge Platform team takes ownership for planning, building, maintaining and operating our global platform. We design, develop and deploy critical technologiesthat provide the underpinnings for all of Akamai's products. Our team ensures consistent availability and performance for our customers.

This position will support Edge Technology, Network Infrastructure, and Planning by designing business and technical solutions for Akamai's cloud computing platforms and for service provider partners who want to implement CDN solutions. Integrating Akamai's CDN technology into third party networks requires a creative and technical person who understands the business needs and the financial aspects of both

As a Network Architect Senior, you will be responsible for :

• Supporting Business Development and Network Strategy on service provider partnerships.
• Managing Akamai's Peering and Interconnection Strategy
• Optimizing Performance and Cost working with Partners and Vendors
• Training internal teams, creating technical documentation and being a technical escalation point for other departments
• Troubleshooting and enhancing the Akamai Mapping System.
• Performing Network Security Awareness
