The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities
General Purpose : Coordinates activities of Outpatient Access employees. Acts as a resource to staff performing those functions in a clinic setting. Monitors and ensures that all functions are completed in an accurate, efficient, and customer friendly manner. Coordinates all staff training activities. Assists clinic leadership through various aspects of operational support, which may include assisting with lead duties such as personnel related matters, including performance evaluations, and developing plans for improvement in staff member's completion of assigned activities. Other duties may include being the front office eRecord superuser, assist with workflow design and implementation and serve as the front office expert supporting referral coordination, prior authorizations as well as be assigned as main provider support. Assists staff in complex decision making and adaptation to technology and systems used. Trains and coordinates the assignment and duties of Outpatient Access employees and those of less experienced support staff.
Essential Functions :
Minimum Education & Experience
High School diploma and 2 years' experience in an administrative capacity or customer service field required Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Medical terminology experience required Demonstrated customer relations skills preferred
