Hours Per Week : Full Time (36 hours per week)

Schedule : A mix between Day / Evening (7am-7pm) and Evening / Night (7pm-7am), rotating weekends and holidays

OUR UNIT : Join our 6-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where we provide high-acuity care for critically ill patients. Our 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratio ensures that each individual receives focused, expert care during their most challenging times. Our team is well-equipped to manage life-threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical recovery. The close-knit, supportive environment promotes collaboration and specialized care.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Perform thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patients.
• Effectively communicate and document patient assessments within the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and customize care plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and medication administration.
• Continuously revise care plans based on patient evaluations and update documentation accordingly.
• Complete at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form annually using recent research findings.
• Maintain a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) each year.
• Fulfill mandatory training and health screenings promptly.
• Keep Basic Life Support (BLS) certification up to date.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequent walking, standing, or squatting is required.
