About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in ICU

License : Not required at time of submission; pending is acceptable

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, CCRN preferred

Must-Have :

• 2 years of ICU experience
• Epic Charting experience

Description :

This position requires strong cardiovascular nursing skills.

The candidate will provide care for patients with primary cardiac diagnoses.

Patients include those with heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and those recovering from cardiothoracic surgery.

Responsibilities will include monitoring for arrhythmias and managing IABP therapy.

The unit comprises dedicated beds for cardiovascular intensive and intermediate care patients.

The multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering excellent patient care.

The facility has achieved recognition for excellence in cardiovascular care.

Nurses are encouraged to pursue advanced certifications.

A comprehensive training program is offered for both beginner and advanced levels.

Essential skills include management of ventilated patients and administration of emergency medications.

Experience with invasive lines, central venous pressure monitoring, and pharmacological management is critical.

Support is provided by interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

This role may involve floating between units as needed.

Travelers must be willing to adapt to changes in assignments.
