About The Position

Child / Adolescent Psychiatry Locums with No Call in Massachusetts

We're looking for a Board Certified Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist for an inpatient assignment in Massachusetts . This short-term coverage offers scheduled clinical hours only with no call requirement . Secure your dates starting late November!

  • Fellowship preferred for this specialty coverage .

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient setting.
  • Work in an Acute psychiatric unit / institute with 22 beds.
  • See an average of 10-12 patients per shift .
  • No required supervision of Advance Practice Providers or Residents / Teaching.
  • The ratio of follow-up to new evaluations is 10 : 1 .

    • Schedule

  • Flexible schedule available-you pick the shift-based dates that work for you.
  • Coverage is for Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (Days, 8 : 00 AM start time).
  • No Admissions Required .

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Required Clinical Areas include Anxiety, Affective, ADD / ADHD, Personality, Eating, Development, Psychotic, and Organic disorders.
  • Treatment techniques include Pharmacotherapy, Group therapy, Family therapy, and ECT.
  • Familiarity With Involuntary commitments, Seclusion therapy, and Restraint application.

    • Requirements

  • Physician Board Certified in Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry .
  • MUST be Child and Adolescent Certified .
  • Active MA License is required to bid on this locums role.
  • Required Certifications include ACLS , BLS , PALS , and ABLS .

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe is 60 days .
  • Temporary privileges are available to speed up the process.
