Billing Representative

Responsibilities : Generating, reviewing and transmitting claims for hospital-based services to third-party payors. Collaborating across Revenue Cycle departments to ensure billing edits and other up-front billing-related issues are resolved completely and efficiently. The Billing Representative reports to the Manager of Hospital Billing.

Qualifications :

Minimum Education Required : High School graduate or GED.

Minimum Experience Required : One (1) year of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing.

Minimum Licensure / Certification Required by Law : None

Additional Qualifications : At least two (2) years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing. Prior Epic experience preferred.
